Emayani Beach Lodge is nestled in a coconut grove along the Indian Ocean.
Set on the beaches just South of Pangani, Emayani Beach Lodge offers a unique beach resort away from the crowds and bustle of everyday life. Our lodge faces the Indian Ocean on its tranquil beachfront, with marine activities, bird viewing, and a venue for relaxing among swaying coconut palms and warm ocean breezes.
Emayani Beach Lodge features 12 en-suite coastal bandas, all within 50 meters of the Beach. Each banda has its own verandah and private parasol with beach beds. We have recently renovated the main lodge for a more spacious dining & lounge with a very colorful bar and gift shop. Enjoy a kilometer of quiet beach. We offer windsurfing, kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkeling trips to Maziwe Marine reserve. There is the KwaJoni airstrip about 1 km from the lodge. Bookings can be made with Auric Air. We also operate a speedboat shuttle service to and from Kendwa, Zanzibar. Welcome to unwind at Emayani Beach Lodge!

Our Bandas
Comfortable and spacious beachfront bandas offer the perfect getaway. Individually built from locally sustainable building materials, our 12 ocean-facing bandas (thatched huts) consist of large, airy bedrooms and spacious en-suite bathrooms with solar-heated showers. Amenities include private outdoor verandahs with cozy chairs and lounge beds, two electric fans, ample space to hang clothing and store luggage, beach towels for guest use, and best of all, sand right outside your porch. Each banda has a walking path to private, shaded sunbeds along the ocean.
